Replace missing teeth
Dental Implants
What are dental implants?
Implants are an effective, natural and durable solution for one or more missing teeth. A perfect candidate for implants must have good oral health and a strong jaw bone, as the implant will need support from the surrounding teeth and jaw.
What happens next?
We will assess your suitability for implants by checking your general and oral health, and the density of your jaw bone. In some cases, where there is insufficient bone volume, a procedure known as bone-grafting may be necessary.
Once the titanium posts are bonded to the surrounding bone and fully healed, we can fit your permanent replacement teeth.
After your initial consultation, we will create a tailor-made treatment plan, complete with full cost breakdown, for you to take away.
Aftercare
You need to take care of your implants in the same way you would care for your natural teeth, with a good oral hygiene regimen of brushing and flossing to stay clean and healthy. You should also see us for regular check-ups so we can make sure your implants stay in great condition.
Implant placement will be carried out under local anaesthetic and you can expect some discomfort for a few days after.
