What Happens During Treatment
Your dentist cleans the area thoroughly first. Then the PerioChip is slipped gently into the space between the gum and tooth. It takes just moments. You may feel slight pressure but no pain. We can use a numbing cream if you are sensitive.
You should avoid flossing in that area for a few days. This gives the chip time to work. If it falls out, don’t worry — just contact us and we will advise you.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Good daily care is the best defence. Brush twice a day and clean between your teeth daily. We will suggest a personal maintenance plan. Some patients need more frequent visits to keep gums healthy. We tailor every plan to you.
